New Year – New and Improved Cornerstone

The first new workstation product of 2019 is now in stock!

At the end of 2018, Treston completed a redesign of the Cornerstone workstation frame. This workstation is a heavy-duty 4-leg table designed for use in a broad range of environments, such as testing, packing, repairing and inspecting. Previously capable of holding 1500 lbs, the improved frame design can now withstand weights up to 2000 lbs.

So, what’s different?

The old style utilized a cross bar in the back of the frame, with gussets for support. The new style replaces that bar with a rear case that is also used in our Concept bench series. This heavy-duty back panel adds strength and simplifies the attachment of slotted uprights. The front rail is also the same style used on the Concept table, and welded for quick, easy assembly.

Another improvement is the design of the tubular steel legs. The new Cornerstone legs are square and wider than the prior rectangular version. This change has added greater stability and strength to the frame.

Cornerstone tables now come as a bench-in-a-box, flat-packed with all pieces in one box. Not only does this make it easier for our customers when they receive their table, but it also makes for a more efficient and more accurate picking process for our employees. The front and rear components of the new frame come preassembled, saving customers time during install.

Ordering Information

Cornerstone 2.0 is available in 3 widths (48”/60”/72”). Standard 30” deep frames are packaged in a single box, and an optional depth kit can be added for 24” and 36” depths. As with the previous version, work surfaces are sold separately.
